Planning permission has been granted for major regeneration of
Walton-on-Thames town centre.

A mixed use development, the scheme comprises of approximately 270,000 sq ft of new retail, 379 apartments arranged around a landscaped podium garden, basement car parking, a Health and Fitness Club and a new Public Library.

Our desire is to produce a contemporary design using traditional natural materials, which are in keeping with the local environment.

We believe the design respects the relevant town-scape issues and provides a comprehensive architectural solution to the urban block, as well as creating a vibrant focal point to the town centre.

This introduction of high density accommodation into the town centre should reinforce existing business within the town as well as attracting new retailers and restaurants, to produce a sustainable, comprehensive regeneration of the town centre.

Current status: Construction works are under-way. The shopping centre is due to open October 2006 with the residential element following 2007.

Client: O&H Properties Ltd.
