Located adjacent to
the existing department store on the south side of Piccadilly, the proposals
comprise 17,500 sq ft of additional prime retail area space, together
with the upgrading of existing back of house facilities. Respecting the
conservation area, the scheme maintains the existing appearance of the
buildings whilst considerably enhancing the floor plate areas and providing
new vertical circulation. Building work was completed in 1999 and was
the winner of a mention in The Civic Trust Awards 2000.
