Project involves the refurbishment of the this Grade 1 Listed building - House of Lords dining facilities. The work is required in response to the increase in demand following the change from a hereditary to an appointed house.

The project includes the construction of a new dining room on the river frontage and the relocation and enlargement of the kitchen and storage areas underneath the Peers' Court.

Noisy work in the Palace of Westminster is currently restricted to nights, weekends and recess periods. The project, which is being carried out in two phases, is due for completion in March 2006.
