1 Puddle Dock

City of London

1 Puddle Dock, which is located adjacent to Blackfriars' main railway station and above the District and Circle underground, provides a comprehensive refurbishment of a linear 1970s office building. The completed project featured in Mission Impossible 6 ‘Fallout’, in which Tom Cruise famously broke his ankle whilst attempting to leap out of one of the office windows and across to Blackfriars station.

EPR was appointed by Willmott Dixon Interiors to undertake the development of GMW’s design. This involved the replacement of existing windows and roofs, the redesign of the building’s core and a full Cat A fit-out to create a fresh, stripped back look that provides all the requirements of a modern office occupier.

The new office provides 94,755ft² of net internal area which can be sublet into smaller units and incorporates an extensive green roof with provision for a roof terrace overlooking St Paul’s and the River Thames.
