Sheraton Grand
London Park Lane

Mayfair

Located in the heart of Mayfair, 31-49 Brick Street is a new-build extension to the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel providing 135 new hotel rooms and function spaces.

The project will see the demolition of two buildings which occupy 31-49 Brick Street and the erection of a stepped five-storey to eight-storey building with an additional basement level which will operate as an extension to the Grade II listed Sheraton Grand Park Lane.

Our design includes a unique sculptural link bridge across Brick Street between the new extension and the existing listed hotel which takes reference from the fluted columns and the decorative cornicing of the Art Deco interiors within the existing Grade II listed hotel.

The building is split into three stepping blocks. These are emphasised with differently coloured brickwork and further articulated with varied window treatments to create a rich and vibrant façade to the new streetscape with high-quality materials and detailing. Our design creates a contextual response to the site constraints and will dramatically improve the public realm on this narrow Mayfair street with a recessed ground floor and an active frontage.
