Highlights of the Year 2016
60 London Wall
Our plans for the redevelopment of 60 London Wall for LaSalle IM and Citygrove were granted planning approval by City of London. Our design will reconfigure, reinvent and reposition the existing building creating 320,000sqft of prime grade A flexible workplace across the ground and 10 upper floors, together with roof terraces and 18,000sqft of retail space.
Our Conference, Banqueting + Event Spaces for Marriott Heathrow won 'Best Event Space' at the 2016 EHDAwards, and 'Best Hotel for Events' at the London Venue Awards. The new facilities reinvent a tired conference suite into a dynamic and vibrant environment to support and promote productive and innovative meetings and social events.
The Architects Journal published our first studio monograph, celebrating almost 70 years of architecture, masterplanning and interior design. Read the book here.
Our plans for a new 20 storey tower in the Royal Victoria Docks were granted planning approval by the London Borough of Newham. Our design for the residential-led mixed-use development for Mount Anvil will see the completion of the final piece of the Western Gateway site transformed into 100 new apartments including affordable homes, new ground floor commercial or retail space and public realm.
67 Tufton Street
67 Tufton Street was shortlisted in the 2016 AJ Retrofit Awards. Our vision for the development was hinged on retaining the finer features of a historic building, whilst sensitively introducing 22 stylish, modern luxury apartments.
