The Forbury shortlisted for British Home Awards

British Home Awards 2020

The Forbury has been shortlisted in the ‘Development of the Year (over £10m)’ category of the British Homes Awards 2020, which celebrates excellence in British homebuilding. EPR’s recently completed mixed-use scheme replaced an existing BMW garage in the heart of the Blackheath conservation area with a contemporary development comprising ten townhouses and 20 apartments over a new concept ‘boutique’ BMW showroom.

‘EPR is delighted that our scheme The Forbury has been shortlisted for this year’s Awards. The quality and ambition of the project is testament to a collaborative relationship with our client Berkeley Homes, who, like us, saw the opportunity to create innovative, contemporary homes in an architecturally sensitive setting. We’re extremely proud of how the development successfully responds to the surrounding conservation areas whilst enhancing the local community.’

James Everitt, Main Board Director, EPR Architects

The awards ceremony will be hosted digitally this October – fingers crossed!
