Having obtained planning approval in 2007 on a City of London site adjacent to the Thames, the building was completed as shell and core in May 2010, having been procured as a two stage design and build with Sir Robert McAlpine as the main contractor.
The building comprises ten storeys of offices with basement and roof plant areas. The building is identifiable by its horizontal white glass spandrel panels around the building and its prominent yellow glass soffite balconies located at opposing corners to the south-west and north-east of the building.
A larger, external terrace provided at level nine provides extensive and unique views across the City of London and the river Thames. The project involved close liaison with the City of London in respect to Planning, Building Control and other City of London departments.
