Our design for this mixed-use development replaced an existing BMW garage with a high-quality development comprising 20 apartments over a Majestic Wine showroom and ten townhouses.
The site is prominent and architecturally sensitive; located at the heart of the Blackheath Conservation Area, surrounded by well-preserved Regency architecture and immediately adjacent to the listed Old St Margaret’s churchyard.
The scheme is in a contemporary style but with a classical flair, complementing the dominant local architectural style and subtly creating a new sense of place in the way that it addresses the neighbouring churchyard.
