In remembrance of Martin Potter

Martin Potter

07.08.1955 – 13.02.2024

It is with the deepest sorrow that the family of Martin Potter and all the team at EPR Architects greatly mourn his sudden and untimely passing on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024.

Martin joined our practice in March 1977 at the tender age of 21, embarking on an illustrious career that spanned nearly four decades. As one of the practice's earliest adopters of CAD, his visionary spirit led him to successfully complete our first major hotel project in 1999. This milestone ignited his unwavering passion and determination to specialise in the hotel design sector.

Martin's remarkable contributions played an indispensable role in establishing and overseeing EPR's reputation and presence within the industry, earning him the admiration and respect of his peers. Even after his retirement from EPR in 2016, he continued to share his wealth of knowledge and expertise as a consultant, leaving an indelible mark on the industry he loved.

The practice will forever be indebted to him for his invaluable contributions to our growth and his nurturing of our distinctive culture.

Martin leaves behind his cherished legacy, survived by his two sons, his partner Janice and her loving family. During this difficult time, our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with them.
