EPR was appointed by Wharf Land Investments to provide masterplanning and architectural services for Reading Gateway - a mixed-use masterplan situated on one of the main approaches into Reading. EPR's design forms part of a new district centre, providing approximately 2,000,000ft² of commercial, retail and residential space, including 900 highly functional spacious apartments.
The landmark scheme includes two contemporary commercial towers, complete with underground servicing, located above a new bustling retail square. To the east of the expansive retail quarter, a new landscaped eco-park is surrounded and overlooked by the residential blocks.
