EPR in the JLL Property Triathlon

EPR marked our latest endeavour into the world of mildly competitive sport, as the practice’s keen cyclists, swimmers and runners gathered bright and early at Dorney Lake to take part in one of the industry’s most thrilling (and physically demanding) events — the JLL Property Triathlon. Now in its 18th year, the sporting competition raised vital funds for Age UK, supporting their mission to change how older people are treated and represented in society.

After months of training, Team EPR put their strength, speed and endurance to the test across the Duathlon, Individual Triathlon and Relay Triathlon. Kicking off the day, Senior Architect Sarah Harvey embraced the unusually warm waters in the 3km swim, while three members of our commercial team tackled the Men’s Duathlon, with Associate Eóin O’Brien delivering an outstanding 18-minute 5k. Next up, six of our fighting-fit EPR women braved the heat for the Sprint Triathlon and Architect Hayley Sheldon put in an outstanding performance, finishing second in the F25-29 category with an exceptional time of 1:22:25. Meanwhile, the practice’s four relay teams competed simultaneously, adding a buzz of excitement and friendly rivalry — many finishing with new PBs, setting a high bar for next year!

As always, it was fantastic to connect with industry colleagues and clients outside the office. Congratulations to everyone who took part and braved the heat in support of such a great cause. We’re already gearing up for next year!
