RIBA Future Architects
Our Manchester studio had the pleasure of welcoming a group of second-year students from Manchester School of Architecture to our King’s House refurbishment project as part of the RIBA Future Architects student mentoring scheme. The initiative provides students with invaluable guidance, advice and real-world experience as they transition from study to practice.
Led by the project’s contractor, Amspec, students gained an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our transformation of a heritage building into a market-leading workplace — where historic charm meets modern office amenities and sustainability. The tour offered valuable real-world insight into the architectural profession, covering key challenges such as refurbishing a historic site, balancing design pressures, managing tight project timelines and the collaborative roles of architects, clients and contractors.
A huge thank you to our EPR project team for passing on their expertise. We look forward to continuing to share our projects in both Manchester and London with our RIBA mentees, inspiring the next generation of industry professionals.
