Star and Garter Planning Approval
EPR's proposals for the Star and Garter have been approved by Wandsworth Council. Located along the Putney Embankment, the Star and Garter is a locally listed building within the Putney Embankment Conservation Area.
Our scheme proposes the sensitive redevelopment of the existing pub into eight residential units, with the ground floor reactivated as a café/wine bar. Roof extensions will be added at the fourth and fifth floors, including a distinctive dome at the eastern end.
The project aims to restore the building’s status as a local landmark and deliver meaningful benefits to the surrounding area. A huge congratulations to everyone involved in achieving this fantastic result!
