We are delighted to share that Westminster City Council has approved our proposals for the redevelopment and refurbishment of 92 New Bond Street.
As architect and interior designer, our design delivers a contemporary and contextually sensitive scheme that celebrates the character and heritage of one of London’s most prestigious luxury shopping streets. Behind the retained and sensitively refurbished façade, the redevelopment introduces over 2,700 ft2 of best-in-class office accommodation and premium end-of-trip facilities, expanding the existing building through two additional floors and rear extensions to increase commercial floorspace by around 50%.
At street level, our design enhances the ground and basement retail spaces, reimagining the frontage with a more ornate and characterful façade that strengthens the building’s identity in this world-class retail location. Carefully selected bespoke brickwork complements and stitches into the existing elevation, while a considered approach to massing bridges the scale between New Bond Street and the larger buildings on Oxford Street.
Driven by sustainable and accessible design principles, the project will deliver a flexible, future-focused commercial building for the West End, with projected embodied carbon levels well below the GLA aspirational benchmark for its category.
